When Bad Things Happen

Regarding, pain, sickness, death, and suffering:

DEVIL caused it. WE chose it. GOD allows it.

All the bad things in this world are not by GOD's will. The only part God has in it is that he gave us an amazing responsibility: free will. In the beginning of time, in our free will, we chose evil. In this one decision we let Satan loose into all the world, to wreak havoc in every area of people's lives. We didn't create it or will it to be so, but we decided to be ignorant of what God instructed us.

When something bad happens, don't blame God. Instead, seek him for indescribable peace and comfort.

Love Story

"God created a love story between Him and His people. His name was Jesus Christ. He died out of love for all God's people. He has the capacity to love a billion times as much as we do. And He loves us with his whole heart. That's a lot of love. So, don't lust after people or even be infatuated with people. Let God be your love story until He writes you one. Wait until He brings you the perfect guy. One who loves God with His whole heart just as much as you do. You may think you have the perfect guy, but make sure to sincerely ask God and pray fervently about it. God always takes the lead. No true relationship would exist if it wasn't for God's example. He loves us more than we could ever love him and even when we ignore or hurt Him. Now, how many people do you know that will always love you no matter what? Not too many, I assume. If you stole from Him, He would still love you. If you lied to Him, He would still love you. We put Jesus to a horrible death, and He still loves us. There is nothing we can do to make Him stop loving us. No guy, (ESPECIALLY for my friends and I at the age we're at now), will give you that kind of love. We should be so in love with Him that we don't need anyone or anything else. We can go to Him with everything. He will listen no matter how stupid it may be, He will listen. He is probably the only one who will ever WANT to listen to your problems all the time. He never gets bored or grows tired of you. He's always there for you even when no one else is. He wants you to feel at home in His arms. He wants you to adore Him, as you should because He created everything for you. Everything you take for granted everyday, he delicately put into place. He loves you, so please loves Him too. With everything you have.

He created a love story for you. Just wait for it. Don't get caught up in wrong decisions and don't move too fast. Take life one step at a time and keep your focus on God, so you don't fall. He loves you."

Deuteronomy 8:3

"Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD."
Beware of becoming contingent on your emotions. If our salvation depended on our day-to-day feelings, we would be saved one day, and banished the next! Do not let your faith balance on the giant rollercoaster that is your emotions. Also, do not let the devil use your feelings to get you down. It is said that only 10% of our emotions are truly caused by our situations. Really, what causes our emotions is how we deal with our situations. No matter how you feel, just know that God is always there for you, even if you don't feel like it, because emotions are incredibly unstable. Don't let Satan trick you into thinking things that are not the Truth; make a habit of depending only on God's Word.

These Little Wonders...

Let it go,
Let it roll right off your shoulder

Don't you know

The hardest part is over

Let it in,

Let your clarity define you

In the end

We will only just remember how it feels

Our lives are made

In these small hours

These little wonders,

These twists & turns of fate

Time falls away,

But these small hours,

These small hours still remain

Let it slide,

Let your troubles fall behind you

Let it shine

Until you feel it all around you

And I don't mind

If it's me you need to turn to

We'll get by,

It's the heart that really matters in the end

Our lives are made

In these small hours

These little wonders,

These twists & turns of fate

Time falls away,

But these small hours,

These small hours still remain

All of my regret

Will wash away some how

But I can not forget

The way i feel right now

In these small hours

These little wonders

These twists & turns of fate

Time falls away but these small hours

These small hours still remain

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

This song is not particularly a Christian song, but it definitely can be applied to faith.

For two days I have been going to the ends of the earth to try to find an assignment that was mistakenly inserted into someone else's book. It would be my second zero in the gradebook, and it would bring down my grade. LONG story short, on the way to my last chance to turn in the assignment, I decided to trust God. I just thought, "You know what? It's one little grade. God's plan will turn out in the end. One missing assignment is definitely not going to affect my entrance into heaven." So I just trusted God, and in return, I recieved so much inner peace. As I took a seat in the classroom, a girl handed me my assignment. Now how she got my assignment is a whole other story. The point is, once I finally let go of my pride of getting good grades, God took care of them for me!

My point is not that you shouldn't put any effort into anything, and let God handle it all. My point is that we can only do so much. The things we can't control are what we need to trust God with, because he knows what he's doing!

When you are stressed about something of minor importance, or even something large, that is not under your control, trust God to take care of it according to his will. It won't go your way every time, but you can be sure that it's going God's way.

Open to the Truth

Don't be a product of close-mindedness. Especially in matters of the faith, close-mindedness can shield the Truth from your heart. If there is a subject that makes you think or question what you believe, don't ignore it or block it out. This is ignorance. Genuine knowledge is when you are open-minded, and therefore, earnestly seeking the Truth. So look into the things that question your beliefs, and use your resources to see whether you believe that they really are the Truth or not.

It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, only what GOD thinks. So BE yourself, and DO what's right.

Words of Wisdom

A woman's heart should be so lost in God that a man has to seek Him to find her.
